Elin Wedlund received her M Sc degree in Electronic Engineering from the Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden, in 1996.
From 1996 to 1999 she was part of a research team at Ericsson AB, in the area of IP telephony. During this period she was also a visiting scholar for Prof. Henning Schulzrinne at Columbia University, where she studied IP mobility. From 1999 to 2001 she was head of a software devolopment team at Net Insight AB, a company that develops networking equipment.
In 2001 she joined Fondazione Ugo Bordoni where she is a researcher in the area of ICT security and networking. She has also held various seminars at the Sapienza university of Rome and at the Scuola Superiore di Telecomunicazioni del Ministero delle Comunicazioni. She nourishes an interest in software development and has partecipated in the construction of the italian “do not call” register (Registro delle Opposizioni) and Nemesys/Misura Internet among other projects.
