Graduated with honors in Physics, from “la Sapienza” University of Rome.
For over thirty years she has been deeply interested and involved with different levels of responsibility in the innovation of digital and emerging technologies in the field of telecommunications and cybersecurity, carrying out research activity, project management, employee training and intellectual property management, with experience gained in the Ugo Bordoni Foundation and in large companies such as Ericsson Lab Italy / Marconi and Leonardo.
She has been a reviewer and guest editor for IEEE scientific journals and involved in technical committees of national and international conferences. She is the author of more than 150 scientific publications and co-author of the book “Nonlinear Optical Communication Networks”, (Wiley, 1998).
She currently works in the Scientific Direction of the FUB, with a particular focus on the activity of the Technical-Scientific Audit Nucleus.
