Since 2025, he has been the Head of the New Technologies Area at the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni, where he has worked since 2006. He was part of the Research Director’s staff until 2018. Since 2010, he has been responsible for the Italian Robinson List. Since 2024, he has coordinated the FUB-MIMIT working group on enabling technologies.

 

He is the technical manager for several agreements with public administrations and focuses on ICT policies and digital transformation, with particular attention to emerging technologies, data protection, copyright protection, and industrial property. He was the technical lead for the partnership with the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance in Pittsburgh, focusing on online anti-counterfeiting policies and cybersecurity.

 

He coordinated the development of the IT system for managing AGCOM’s copyright regulation, the Paladin project – entrusted by FAPAV to FUB – aimed at tackling online piracy, and the initiatives of the Italian Patent and Trademark Office to fight counterfeiting. He has represented the Foundation in the RES4Med initiative, within FAPAV, and in international contexts.

 

He earned a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2006, with a thesis on immersive mobile interfaces, and a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering and Microelectronics in 2013, with a thesis on advanced multimedia technologies.

 

In 2015, he obtained the Privacy Officer and Privacy Consultant Certification. Since 2022, he has been part of the pool of experts supporting the European Data Protection Board.
